Jesse White Tumbling Team Thrilling Audiences Since 1959
Training Program

While participating in the Training Program, participants are given the opportunity to enhance and develop their tumbling skills.

Program Information

The Jesse White Training Program is designed to enhance and develop the existing tumbling skills of the children that have been selected to participate. The Program also teaches discipline and introduces the rules and philosophy of the program, which have guided the members of the team throughout the years.

Participants must be dressed in their uniform (which is provided by Mr. White), and be prepared to begin tumbling instruction.

The Training Program is free to selected participants. Mr. White, Ms. Denne and the head coaching staff reserve the right to terminate any participant from the program for violating the rules and regulations of the program.

Mr. White, Ms. Denne and Ms. Jones will monitor the grades of all trainees. Report cards are reviewed after each marking period.

Trainees are allowed to receive up to three (3) unexcused absences. Trainees that are unable to attend a training session are instructed to contact Ms. Denne at the Tumbling Team Office (312-266-7498). Additionally, the parent is allowed to temporarily remove the trainee from the Program.

Training sessions are held at THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CENTER (1250 W. 119th Street) on Mondays and Wednesdays, and at THE JESSE WHITE COMMUNITY CENTER (412 West Chicago Avenue) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Trainees should arrive by 4:30 p.m. at either location to check in and prepare for each training session. Parents should plan to arrive after each session to pick up their child by no later than 6:45 p.m.)
